Lit for Teen Motorheads
Not much racing going on at -30 degrees and two feet of snow! But that's Minnesota. The only racing going on is in our heads as we wait for spring, and in warm shops where we work on our cars. Team Weaver is scrambling to replace some sponsorship money. These are tough economic times in general, and for my book publisher in particular. With less money from FSG, I am actively pitching my "Bookmobile" to other organizations--and have some good options, the way it looks. No to worry: we'll be rocking and rolling around the dirt track as soon as the snow melts and the frost goes out.
On the book side, the sequel to SATURDAY NIGHT DIRT is slightly delayed. We'll see SUPER STOCK ROOKIE in April '09 (not Feb). The paperback of SND will be out in March '09, which is great news.
Other news: had a sweet magazine article appear on Team Weaver, Skyler and the Bookmobile. It's called "Literature for Teen Motorheads." Take a look at:

Hi Will, I am looking forward from you coming to RFMS in Texas. I have read that you like Fishing and Hunting. I like Fishing and Hunting too. That is a really cool race car you got bye the way. I have gone hunting with my Father and have gone fishing with my Step-Dad. I enjoy other sport's like... Football, Golf, Baseball, and Basketball. What are some thing's about you?

I was suprised that you raced in 30 degrees below. That is amazing that you can actually survive in that cold weather. I can barely stand the winter down here in Texas...
